Midweek Photos.
A midweek surprise.
For the photos this week I opted for another album I own. This time St. Anger from Metallica. Load was the first Metallica album I bought and somewhere in 2005 I got my hands on St. Anger.
This was a difficult time for the band with Jason Newstead leaving and James Hetfield’s addiction problems. There is just a single band photo inside the booklet which also shows Hetfield slightly away from the rest of the band. Perhaps the photographer unwittingly captured the emotions inside the band at the time.
Album art was done by Pushead. Apparently there are a few variations on the album covers as well. The green double CD case is just me replacing the original one that got damaged. The red piece of plastic on one of the photos is a personal touch.
