A midweek surprise.

Canvas.

Not the shoe type though, but the type you hang against the wall. This bug bit me somewhere in 2010’s when I had a canvas made from a photo of a road in Iceland. It hung on the wall in my room for almost a decade. Recently it had to come off the wall due to some repainting but it is likely to find a new spot.

Back to 2024: I started following a local artist on Instagram - neon_charlie_za. Long story short I found a piece I liked and bought it. Had it made onto a canvas and now it’s hanging just behind me. Thinking about it I should probably move it to where I can look at it the whole time but for now I’m happy where it is.
