Edition Three
Some days things don't work.
It's Saturday around five o’ clock. The weather notification in my toolbar says 29C (84.2F) and sunny. For early autumn it's extremely hot.
While I'm battling to stay cool I’m thinking about the new week. Some planning on writing. One of days we won’t have electricity due to repairs so I have to plan for it. Look for potential clients.
A busy week ahead.
This brings me to my point: There are days when things don’t go our ways. No feedback from potential clients. Wheels spinning when it comes to writing. Not knowing what to photograph.
No inspiration.
These days are part of life.
You’ll have days where you have to beat success of with a stick. And then there will be dry spells when things don’t go your way.
We’d all like to experience constant success in our endavors. Win all the time. But life isn’t like this. We don’t always win. We don’t always get the client. You know how it goes.
You have power over your mind - not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength. - Marcus Aurelius.
How we react is important. See a difficult day as insurmountable and you’re not going to make it. Think about all the challenges and the things you dread in the coming weak and you won’t look forward to those tasks.
Having a positive outlook isn’t magic. It doesn’t trick the universe into making everything easier or just plain sailing. In the long term a positive mindset is the better one to have if you want to beat difficult times.
With all this said I hope this is one of easier weeks you’ll face. May you encounter only success and victory :)

In here I share the social media channels of artists I found while browsing the internet. Got any artists which inspire or interest you? Leave some feedback for us to check out.
Photographer
Takasnap
This channel is dedicated to point of view street photography videos in Japan. It’s still a small channel (which I enjoy) and doesn’t focus overly on all the tourist trap type image we are used to seeing on social media.
If you’re interested in videos like this you’ll definitely enjoy the channel. Link to the YouTube channel below.
Podcast
I found the channel just after it was started and after listening to the first episode I was hooked. In the about section of the channel you’ll find this piece
The Motorcycle Archives is a crossroad between philosophy and motorbikes. Each episode is an unscripted journey into the lives of people who are keeping the art of building motorcycles alive. This series goes beyond mechanics, focusing on the human stories that intertwine with the craft of motorcycle artisanship.
With social media often doing it best to divide people this channel does the opposite. Although it centers around motorcycles the stories behind the people are relatable to everyone.
If you’re interested in motorcycles and also the stories behind people who build them you’ll enjoy this channel.
