Edition Seventy
A few black & white photographs from a long weekend.
For the past few months most of my photography has been focused towards the night time. The mornings tend to be too busy, I do admit that my time management is not what it should be. Perhaps it is the result of too much rigidity, too much multi-tasking.
One week ago I had a long weekend. Two days off. In my current position this is a rarity. My last two day weekend (actually a bit more) was around Christmas last year.
I headed into town to attend to a few errands. The taxi I use had to pick up another passenger in a different part of town and I had no problem being a backseat driver for twenty minutes or so.
This ‘inconvenience’ mean I could see a part of town I rarely visit. Not because I don’t have the option but mostly because I have no reason to go there. But thinking about it as I write this, perhaps I should explore a bit more. If for no other reason than my own curiosity.
The photos I share are from the Sunday and Monday mornings. They have been split up between my XE-2 and my Samsung A10. I did the edits in Snapseed and applied a little bit of grain to them.
The photos.
In closing.
The road less taken is often one which gives different photographs.
But it also gives new ideas and new perspective. It is these changes in our routine which tends to spark curiosity and creative.
Thanks for reading : )
